Computing time for the high performance compute systems installed at HLRS of the University of Stuttgart and the JSC of the Forschungszentrum Juelich is requested in this proposal for two scientific applications. In the first subproject, the combustion and thermodiffusive instabilities of hydrogen-air flames and its impact on the thermoacoustic emission are analyzed. In the second subproject, deep optical flow networks are coupled with diffusion models and latent dynamical system learners to enhance the generalization ability and the physical interpretability of this method used for measurement techniques and the investigation of turbulent flows.
