Monte Carlo Simulations for internal dosimetry are capable to model radioactive decay, particle transport and interactions with tissue. This is required to score absorbed energy per unit of mass and therefore absorbed dose for internal radionuclide therapies. The radiation damage at the cellular (microscopic level) are yet to understand for different radioisotopes and radiopharmaceutical therapies under investigation. This project aims at the simulation of dose rates at the cellular level for prostate cancer therapies using different isotopes.
