Baryon scattering amplitudes from lattice QCD in the chiral regime

This project using lattice QCD to compute two ensembles of gauge field configurations which will be useful for a broad program of hadron scattering amplitudes as part of the Baryon Scattering Collaboration (BaSc). Crucially, these ensembles have quark masses close enough to the physical point to enable contact with effective field theories of hadron interactions based on chiral symmetry. The ensembles will also be made available to the broader Coordinated Lattice Simulators (CLS) consortium and will thus serve a variety of other physics goals.
