Computing time for the high performance compute systems installed at HLRS of the University of Stuttgart In contrast to previous compute time proposals, only two subprojects are described in this proposal to provide more details of each subproject on the limited number of pages. The first subproject investigates the turbulent mixing and tumble-spray interaction for bio-hybrid fuels in Internal Combustion Engines. The second subproject is connected to the numerical analysis of active drag reduction through spanwise traveling waves for compressible airfoil flow.
