Multi-phase flows demand complex physical modeling and high-performance computing. High-order methods, like the Discontinuous Galerkin Spectral Element Method (DGSEM), offer efficient solutions. The open source solver FLEXI, has successfully applied DGSEM to large-scale turbulent and compressible flow calculations. With the present proposal, the extension of FLEXI to multi-phase flows shall be continued on the fronts of three different sub-projects. The first addresses droplet grouping in compressible flows, the second focuses on compressible droplet flows with evaporation, and the third investigates the breakup of supercritical hydrogen jets.
